I am amazed at how many clients care more about getting the lowest price possible vs doing the research to see who they are hiring. As a mother, I'm protective by nature and when a client recently told me about the carpet cleaner that played with her daughter's hair I was alarmed! She told me that she screamed at him "don't touch my daughter!". She asked him to leave but was very distraught over the incident. I asked her how did she find the company and her response was "oh, i saw a special he had on google"..that's it. Two years ago we decided to offer a deal with Groupon for carpet cleaning here in Atlanta, ga. Being featured on Groupon brought an immediate flow of new clients to our company. However, the recent surge of copycat deal sites have clients believing they can really pay $59.00 for a 7 room carpet cleaning deal. Really? When I read some of the fine print I was blown away. Carpet cleaning in atlanta for only 150 sq ft per room. Additional charge if room is larger than 150 sq ft. No moving furniture. No prespray. No truckmount equipment.
